Lymphedema

Lymphedema is a chronic condition caused by impaired lymphatic drainage, which can sometimes lead to a significant reduction in quality of life.

 Lymphedema treatment counteracts the worsening of lymphedema and often requires patience, as it is complex, lengthy, and may even be necessary for life.

The therapy's main goal is to reduce swelling. Treatment can be done through lymphatic drainage and compression therapy. Without treatment, lymphedema worsens. In later stages, the skin becomes inflamed. Eczema develops from lymphedema that is detected too late.
